Update December

Hey everybody! Sorry haven't been posting lately, I've been too busy making things and getting inspired to be blogging. But I have a new motivation to get out there, so I'll be posting more often now. I have a new camera to take pretty pictures with. It's a Canon EOS Rebel T1i. I don't have any nifty toys for it yet, just the lens it comes with. Here are some pictures I've taken with it!

Big update!

I have lots to update on, so I'll separate into two posts.

First, my beloved new clay creations!
Now, I must make note that I fail at taking pictures of them, so I resorted to scanning... which didn't exactly work right =/

But out of my own anticipation (and guilt for not posting sooner) I'll post them as they are!






That's not all of them, but I'll save the kitty, mushrooms, and doughnuts for tomorrow!

Update

Hello my friends, fans, fellow bloggers, artists and stumblers! I would like to give you all an update from the wonderful world of Ary's Art!

First of all, I posted a new stock image pack! It's all about the shoulders this time. I needed one of them for a new WIP (more on it later) a whopping 25 images of my shoulders! Woohoo!

I have also started using a new medium! In preparation for my new Etsy store, I made some ADORABLE cupcake earrings and charm/pendants! I haven't baked them yet, so I can't show them to you >_> you never know they might melt or something. But I'll throw 'em in the oven tomorrow! So now I have three types of items to sell. I think I'm ready to open~ All I need is to slap some cash into my paypal to pay for the listing fees and It'll be up!

I now have about 6 WIPs. I'm horrible when it comes to finishing things. I need Zach to get on me more about them. I've been playing too many games.... And that brings me to my new piece! It's my character from Perfect World International! Her name is Severia, and she's a fox type venomancer... level 18 right now.

Oh! And my swimsuit is a complete FAILURE! I thought making it out of non-stretchy fabric would be okay... it's not. Maybe if it were a bikini, but NOT a monokini, never. It's so bad I won't even share my fail.

Dug up WIP

So a while back, when Episode 418 of One Piece came out, I started working on a vector. I never finished it. I might someday, but in case I don't I'll share it here as a wip. Enjoy. SUPER! Franky! Left! Right! Left! Right!........... SUUUUPPPPEEERRRRRRRR!

Stock Photos and Sewing Projects!

So! Lately I have been promoting myself and trying to get some sort of fan-age or something. I'd like to get some art-related work going. Something that really gets noticed ad dA is Stock Images. I super don't mind if someone uses my picture in something, so, here's my dA Stock account!

Also, I made a little piggy! See him here. I StumbledUpon this pattern/tutorial and changed it for doggie chewing strength.

Last, but NOT least. I will be going on vacation soon to Niagara Falls. I don't know what the weather's gonna be like, but I'm making a swim suit! I'll be finishing it tomorrow, so expect pictures soon! It's amazing!

Here is my latest WIP. Finish the hair and do the clothes, tweak brightness and stuff, and I'm done.

Not much lately

I've been too busy playing video games and making worthless photo manips that I just throw out to show anything lately. I'll get back in the artsy mood soon enough.

New Computer? New Cool Stuff.

To celebrate my new pretty laptop, I needed a desktop that makes me smile when I see it. Who better than Gwen Stefani? I read today from my Gwen image source justnodoubt.net that Gwen and Gavin, after years of marriage and after having two kids together, they're still madly in love. Here's to my Gwen!

I got all the way from A to G in two hours, lol.

And who can forget the music? I have added The Sounds, Lily Allen, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Tegan and Sara to my new computer. I need to pull out my Metric CDs! I don't have full inspiration without them.

I'm making an etsy acct to sell my hand made accessories! I'll post links when it's all set up.

Happy 18th Birthday to me!

And the best part of all? I got a new computer! It's quite nice. Windows 7 x64. Toshiba. 4GB ram. almost 300GB space. Yay!

Stall in progress

My computer gets slower by the day. My art will be on hold until I can:
a) deal with it.
b) Get a new computer.

Also, I'm going to enroll back into school, and get a day job. Yay!

Art break

I've taken a temporary break from art to play spore. I have three pieces to finish afterwords. "The Elevator", a portrait of Anneke Van Giersbergen, and poppies for my mother.

New piece

I'm working on a new piece. It's inspired by a scene from NCIS, but no parts are directly taken from it. It will be called "the elevator". Kinda a tribute to kimmy, too. And the movie we made as kids ^_^

New Layout.

It took a couple failed attempts, but I changed the colors so something fitting. I think I'll do an alternative with a cranberry mascot, too.

My new art blog!

I've recently decided I would start commissioning my art, and I read that starting an art blog is a great way to start up! I think I'll do the same with my currently non-existent fashion line. So, yeah! I'll post up my portfolio after slapping that together!
